How files are routed

- Duplicates go to Duplicates (safe to delete). Nothing is ever deleted.

How editing works
Why a change needs a command, and what the command does
This console is a static page. It can read the database at build time but it cannot write to one, so an Edit or a New does three things: it changes what you see straight away, it keeps the change on this device, and it writes one command that makes it permanent.
Anything not yet saved carries the line edited on this device, and the arrow beside + New counts them. Open it, copy the command, run it in the repository. The page stops marking them as local the moment it agrees with the database.
The same tool works from the terminal.
node harvest/record.js --list prints every kind of record it
can create or change.
What is deliberately not published
Everything on this page is served to anyone who asks for
assets/data.js, because the login is still deferred. Records
marked private stay in the database and never reach the published file.
